How do I switch ipsum libraries?

Click the Lil’ Ipsum icon in your menu bar, then open the Libraries submenu to choose from Classic Lorem Ipsum, Dude Ipsum, Pawnee Ipsum, Corporate Ipsum, or Jules Ipsum.

How do I set a global hotkey?

Open Settings from the menu and click the hotkey field. Press your desired key combination to record it. Once set, that shortcut will copy ipsum text directly to your clipboard from anywhere on your Mac.

How do I enable HTML wrapping?

Open Settings and toggle Wrap in <p> tags. When enabled, generated text is wrapped in paragraph tags — handy for dropping directly into HTML mockups.

How do I quit Lil’ Ipsum?

Click the Lil’ Ipsum icon in your menu bar and select Quit Lil’ Ipsum at the bottom of the menu.

Lil’ Ipsum doesn’t appear in my menu bar after installing

If your menu bar is crowded, macOS may hide some icons. Try holding ⌘ and dragging icons to make room, or check Control Center for overflow items. You can also launch the app again from your Applications folder to bring it to the front.

How do I reset all settings?

Quit Lil’ Ipsum, then run the following in Terminal: defaults delete com.aaronkwhite.lilipsum Relaunch the app and it will start fresh with default settings.
